FedEx Ground Offsite Lot

 
FedEx Ground tasked Kendale with constructing this 5.5 million dollar 16 acre offsite lot to provide badly needed tractor/trailer space for their Charlotte Hub. This was our fourth project for the Charlotte Hub. Despite Significant weather challenges, the project was delivered on time for FedEx’s peak season. Kendale was also able to provide valuable engineering feedback saving the client nearly $400,000.

Project Features Include:
  • 100,000 CY of import fill
  • Engineered 20,000 SF retaining wall
  • Widened DOT roadway and relocated Duke Energy/ ATT Utilities
  • Extensive access control, lighting, and other security features
